The Accounts (IAM) team provides identity and access management services across the University.
Our goal is to provide access management services and support that align with industry standards and security focused best practices. Our focus is to meet security and compliance requirements while providing excellent customer service through standardization and automated processes.
The Account (IAM) team provides a wide range of accounts management for systems and application resources at Georgia Southern University. Services offered include but are not limited to:
- Account provisioning for IT accounts such as Faculty and Staff, Departmental Student Worker and Departmental and Student Organizations accounts.
- Account provisioning for administrative systems such as Banner, Business Objects, Data Warehouse, and WebXtender.
- Password management
- Enforcement of security policies and establishing best practices related to identity and access management
- Audit tracking for all University accounts
