Google Calendar Notifications in Your Chrome Browser

Google Calendar GoalsDo you work in Google Calendar while working in other documents at the same time? Before May 10, Google Calendar notifications were interruptive – that is, they took the focus away from what you were working on, causing an interruption. With Google’s new “Gentle Notifications,” you can continue working in other tabs uninterrupted without losing track of your next meeting. Event notifications in browsers which support Web Notifications (like Google Chrome) will allow you to use native browser notifications instead of interruptive alerts.
