Project Management Office
The Project Management Office (PMO) in the Division of IT Services is strategically aligned under IT Service & Delivery. The mission of the PMO is to provide a consistent and comprehensible approach to managing IT projects resulting in greater efficiency and project success.
The PMO takes a three-phase approach to project management:
There are four project cycles per year, coinciding with the Fiscal Calendar.
As a central hub for project managers, the PMO provides guidance and oversight for project management within the IT departments. Each Division/Department has designated points of contact, ensuring greater communication and transparency with our stakeholders. If you’re interested in proposing a project, please contact your departmental IT resource.
Project Cycles are designed to coincide with the Fiscal Calendar. In a given year, the Propose and Discover phases of a new project cycle will overlap with the Execute phase of the previous cycle, allowing for maximum efficiency.
