What is Microsoft 365?
Currently enrolled students and active faculty and staff are able to download Microsoft Office applications for free through Microsoft Office 365. These applications include countless features that you’ll find useful in your role here at Georgia Southern University.
What is Access?
Access is an easy-to-use tool for creating business applications, from templates or from scratch. With its rich and intuitive design tools, Access can help you create appealing and highly functional applications in a minimal amount of time.
What is Excel?
Microsoft Excel is a software program that allows users to organize, format, and calculate data formulas using a spreadsheet system. You can also share and collaborate using OneDrive.
What is One Drive?
Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud-based storage system that can be used for file storage, collaboration, and consistency in having access to everything you need, no matter where you are working from. OneDrive provides seamless integration for sharing all Microsoft Suite tools like Word, PowerPoint, Forms, and more.
What is Outlook?
Microsoft Outlook is an information management software developed to send and receive emails, store personal and professional contacts, update your calendar, monitor tasks, and sync your emails, contacts, calendars, and tasks in one place.
What is PowerPoint?
Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation program that allows you to create and share presentations that can consist of slides including text, graphics, movies, hyperlinks, animation, voice over, and more.
What is Publisher?
Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing program that focuses primarily on the publication design and layout of documents rather than the text or content composition. Microsoft Publisher lets you work as easily as you do in Microsoft Word, but instead of using tools for text, you can use tools for editing page layouts and visual content.
What is SharePoint?
SharePoint hub sites connect and organize sites to better meet the needs of your organization. With hub sites, you can apply common navigation and branding across associated sites, allow for searches across those sites, and accelerate the discovery of content such as news and site activities.
What is Word?
Microsoft Word is a document program within Office 365. Word can be used to create documents, templates, and more.
