IT Projects & Resource Management
The CIO periodically reviews systems performance and capacity and forecasts future needs based on workload, storage, and contingency requirements to identify imminent performance problems and inform planning activities. Performance and capacity plans are synchronized with the University’s strategic actions, enrollment forecasts, changes in policy, and external mandates such as USG business process and other situations that significantly impact resource requirements. The CIO incorporates capacity planning findings into annual reports, year-end funding requests, and future budget requests.
