Consoles & Streaming Devices

We’re dedicated to providing you technology solutions in and out of the classroom, which is why we have a dedicated wireless network, GSDevice, specifically designed to allow students living in residential facilities on the Statesboro campus to connect gaming consoles, SmartTVs, and streaming devices to our wireless network. You can connect up to five devices to the GSDevice network.

Connecting to GSDevice

Before connecting your gaming console, SmartTV, or streaming device, you’ll need to find your device’s MAC address, which is a unique identifier for your hardware. Click here for instructions for locating the MAC address of major brands of consoles and other devices. After you’ve located your device’s MAC address, use the instructions below to connect to GSDevice.
