Downloading Shared Files
During your migration, Google Drive files that you are the owner of will be migrated from your current Armstrong Google account to your new Georgia Southern Google account. However, files that are shared with you from other users may not be accessible after migration. To download Google files that are shared with you, please follow the steps below:
Google Drive Download Guide
- Login to your current Google Drive account and click the Shared With Me tab on the left.
- Click a file to download.
(To download multiple files, press Shift or Ctrl while clicking other files. Press Ctrl + a to select all files) - Right-click and click Download
.
- A zip folder of your documents will be downloaded. These documents can then be extracted and uploaded to your new account.
