IT Services Upgrades and Updates June 24 – 27

ResNet Bandwidth Upgrade

Beginning at 5:00pm on Sunday, June 26, The ResNet Internet link will be upgraded from 2 gigabits per second to 5 gigabits per second. The upgrade will include the physical movement of networking equipment from one campus networking operations center to another and the updating of networking switch configurations. The ResNet network will not be available during the upgrade window. The upgrade will begin at 5:00pm on Sunday, June 26 and will be complete at 8:00am on Monday, June 27.

MyGeorgiaSouthern, Folio, and Google Apps will not be available on the ResNet network from 5:00pm on Sunday through 8:00am on Monday while the upgrade takes place.

The following services will be unavailable from 5:00pm on Friday, June 24, until 5:00pm on Saturday, June 25:

The following services will be unavailable from 11:00am on Saturday, June 25, until 4:00pm on Saturday, June 25:
