Mobile Printing: PrinterOn

What is PrinterOn?

PrinterOn is a mobile printing solution to provide an easy and convenient way for students to print these materials.

Why do we need it?

Students, like most of our society, are increasingly mobile. In the growing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) mobile environment at Georgia Southern, students are no longer tied to a physical location like a computer lab or a desktop computer. Because of this mobility, students need a way to print academic materials on the go. The Zach S. Henderson Library and IT Services have provided PrinterOn to fulfill this need. Students can print from any location (on or off-campus) via email, through the mobile printing web portal, or through their mobile printing app.

Who can use it?

PrinterOn is available to all students.

Where are the printers?
There are two PrinterOn printers in the Henderson Library. Both are located on the main floor (2nd floor) at the Information Desk.
The PrinterOn printer is located in the computer lab (Room 1009) near the Student Government Association (SGA) offices.
The PrinterOn printer is located on the third floor. If you ascend the main stairs from the lobby, the printer is directly ahead at the top of the stairs. If you take the elevator, take the first two left turns when you step off and you sill see the printer.
How does it work?

For each printer you see in the web app or mobile apps for PrinterOn, you’ll see two printer entries listed. One is for single-sided printing and the other is for double-sided printing.

See the PrinterOn printer information list for specific printers. These instructions use the Henderson Library printers as the example for printing through the web app.
