The MyGeorgiaSouthern portal is your gateway to services and resources at Georgia Southern University. The sleek, user-friendly interface organizes the services you need in order to be successful in your role as a faculty or staff member into an easy-to-use dashboard that’s both efficient and intuitive.

FUNctionality

The MyGeorgiaSouthern portal is customizable. Arrange it in a way that makes it your own using your personal settings. Seeing too much information? Collapse tiles you’re not using so that you see the information that you’re interested in. Not seeing enough information? Expand tiles you want to see right away. Email, calendar, news and events, Human Resources information, and even the weather–it’s all at your fingertips. With single-sign-on functionality for services like OneUSG and the Folio Learning Management system, accessing services via your MyGeorgiaSouthern portal is easy and convenient. First-Time Use

Accessing your MyGS portal for the first time? Use the videos above or our first-time user guide for step-by-step instructions.

First-Time User Guide
  1. Navigate to My.GeorgiaSouthern.edu
  2. Click First-Time User
  3. Complete the form to Get User Information
  4. Create your new password and click Submit
  5. Click Login to MyGeorgiaSouthern on the confirmation screen
  6. At the login screen, click Login
  7. Enter your new credentials and click Login

After completing the IT Appropriate Use and Security Question forms, you’ll gain access to the MyGeorgiaSouthern portal. We’ve created a welcome message and tutorial to help guide you. You can also use the tutorial videos to get familiar with the portal.
