ADP Direct Deposit Scam

The University System has notified us of phishing attempts at several USG institutions which are leading to compromised ADP Portal accounts with direct deposit changes associated with Green Dot Banking accounts.

Example Email

From: ADP <XXXXXXX@comcast.net>
Sent: Saturday, October 7, 2017 8:05:17 AM
Subject: ADP Generated Message: Activate Now

Dear Payee,
Please follow these steps to activate ADP Federated Single Sign-On.

The activation is recommended for all ADP users and contains improvement to privacy, compatibility and security.

  1. Click myAccess.adp.com
  2. Enter your USER ID and PASSWORD
  3. Click Log in and you are done.
