Requesting Transcripts:

If you graduated AFTER 2005, then you can request your transcripts by logging into MyGeorgiaSouthern and request them through your WINGS account.
If you graduated between 1984-2005, then click here.

Students
How do I reset my password?

Go to MyGeorgiaSouthern. Under the login section, you will see a link that reads “Forgot your Password?”. Click that link, and you will be asked to enter some information so that your password may be reset. Please remember that your password will be reset to your Eagle ID.

I am having trouble accessing content in WINGS. Can you help me?

If you’re having problems accessing the content in WINGS, try using the Site Map. This can be found in the bottom right-hand corner of the page in WINGS, and it will allow you to access any page in WINGS, error-free.

How do I clear my browsing history and/or my cookies?

Depending on what browser you are using, try and locate your Browser settings. From there, look for a heading that says “Advanced settings” and from there, look for a section that says “Network”. Here you can clear your Browser cache along with your cookies.

How do I connect to campus WiFi?

You can connect to campus WiFi using your MyGeorgiaSouthern login credentials, without the “@georgiasouthern.edu” appended to the end. If you have any other Internet related questions, you may refer to the Resnet HelpDesk.

I do not see my classes in Folio. Can you help?

This can be due to multiple reasons, but it is most likely that your professor has not yet activated your course. If this is the case, simply send an email to your professor, encouraging them to activate the course within their Folio class.

Parents
I am trying to access my Parent Account, but I am having issues. Can you help?

If you created an account at SOAR, then you have most likely created an account for our Eagle Nation program. If so, you will need to create a parent account for MyGeorgiaSouthern, which can be done by visiting MyGeorgiaSouthern, and clicking on the “Are You a Parent?” link underneath the log-in section.

When I log into my account, I cannot access my child’s web invoice. Can you help?

This is most likely because your child has not connected your Parent account to their student account. Encourage your child to do this by logging into their student account, going to “Personal Settings”, and then to “Online Parent Services”, and simply checking the corresponding boxes to what they want to give you access to.

How do I clear my browsing history and/or my cookies?

Depending on what browser you are using, try and locate your Browser settings. From there, look for a heading that says “Advanced settings” and from there, look for a section that says “Network”. Here you can clear your Browser cache along with your cookies.

How do I disable pop-ups in my browser?

You may disable pop-ups in your browser by following these steps. Depending on what browser you are using, locate your Browser Settings/Options. Locate a section named “Content”, and disable the checkbox that says “Block pop-up windows”. If you do not want to disable pop-ups everywhere, you can always add Georgia Southern as a trusted site by clicking the button that says “Exceptions” next to the checkbox you previously clicked.

I am trying to log into my account to pay my child’s bill, but it says that I am not an authorized user. Can you help?

Encourage your child to add you as an authorized user in our Partner Site, TouchNet, which is the website that Georgia Southern uses for invoice payment. Once you access WINGS, and click “Student”, you will see a link that says “Registration Invoice & Web Payment”. Upon clicking that, you will be directed to TouchNet. Locate the link that reads “Authorized Users”, and have your child add your account there.

How do I reset my MyGeorgiaSouthern password?

You can reset your Parent Portal password by accessing MyGeorgiaSouthern, and clicking on the “Are You a Parent?” link underneath the log-in section. Once there, scroll down the page a little and locate the “Forgot you password?” heading. Click the link there to reset your password. Your new password will be emailed to the email that you set up your account with.

Faculty & Staff
How do I reset my password to my email account/departmental account OR How do I unlock my account?

You will have to contact someone at the HelpDesk in order to reset your password and/or unlock your account. You can contact us at (912) 478-2287.

I do not see my class(es) in Folio. Can you help?

You can simply search for your courses in Folio by typing in “.201408” (without the quotations) in the search bar OR by searching for the CRNs themselves. If this does not work, please do not hesitate to call our Helpdesk number at (912) 478-2287.

How do I activate my course in Folio?

Inside your Folio course, click the link near the top that reads “Edit Course”. Once there, look for a link that reads “Course Offering Information”. Once there, scroll down the page a bit and locate the section that reads “Course is Active/Course is Inactive”, select the checkbox to activate your course, and save your changes.

How do I crosslist my courses in Folio?

You may submit a crosslisting request Here. Please note that your request may take up to 24 hours to complete.

Alumni
I am trying to request transcripts for another school, but I am getting an error on WINGS. Can you help?
