IT Services Upgrades and Updates April 22 – 24

My.GeorgiaSouthern, Folio, and Google Apps will NOT be affected by maintenance activities this weekend with the following exceptions because of network equipment maintenance:
Network service will be unavailable in the following buildings from 5:00pm on Friday, April 22, until 10:00pm on Friday, April 22:
- Child Development Center BLDG #219
- School of Human Ecology BLDG #239
- Hendricks Hall BLDG #303
- Center for Wildlife Education & Lamar Q Ball, Jr. Raptor Center BLDG #240
- Veazey Hall BLDG #252
- Lewis Hall BLDG #113
- First Floor of the College of Engineering and Information Technology Building BLDG #255
Network response may be slower from 5:00pm on Friday, April 22 until 7:00pm on Friday, April 22, because of other network equipment updates.
The Administrative Internet connection will be unavailable between 5:00am and 5:15am on Monday morning, April 25 for an important networking equipment update. This will affect all administrative and classroom buildings including the Zach S. Henderson Library.
The following services will be unavailable from 5:00pm on Friday, April 22, until 11:59pm on Friday, April 22:
- Banner
- Internet Native Banner (Banner on the Web)
- WINGS (Student and Faculty Self Service)
- Xtender
Network Data Center Standby Generators will be tested from 1:00pm on Sunday, April 24, until 3:00pm on Sunday, April 24. There will be a possibility of network interruptions during this time frame.
