Did You Know? Mobile Printing

Students, did you know that you can print documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and just about anything else from your mobile device or from your laptop to one of three Georgia Southern mobile print locations on campus?

Information Technology Services (ITS) has brought the PrinterOn service to campus to give students the ability to print from any location (on or off-campus) via email, through the mobile printing web portal, or through their mobile printing app. You no longer need to make your way to a physical computer lab to print academic materials. You can print from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection – even on the bus on your way to class!

Savitri Jayaraman, a member of the IT Staff in the Zach S. Henderson Library, manages the PrinterOn mobile printing service. She and other IT professionals in her group strategically located three mobile printing stations across the Georgia Southern campus – Russell Union, Henderson Library, and the Biological Sciences building – to make it easy for students to print to a station close to where they need it.

Using PrinterOn is easy once you do some initial set up.
